 While working for more than twenty years in the elder law arena, Laurie Kuzdal recognized that many individuals did not have friends or family able to carry out their final wishes or to serve as their medical or financial power of attorney. 

 In 2007, she obtained her license from the Arizona Supreme Court as a Private Fiduciary and founded Arizona Fiduciary Services LLC.  

 Laurie regularly volunteers in the community including work with Lawyers for Literacy, Pima Council on Aging and Lions Club.  She enjoys spending time with her family, renovating her historic Tucson home or snuggling with Toro, arguably the laziest rescue pitbull in Tucson!

I achieved licensure in 2020, becoming the youngest Fiduciary in Arizona at that time.  She started working as a Legal Assistant in 2004, and received her Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in 2008, then transferred to the University of Arizona where she received a double bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 2012.

Gracie is a third generation native Tucsonan. Mother of three adult children and two grandkids. When she is not at work, she likes to play with her big dogs, swim, kayak and travel to northwestern Michigan.

Her expertise is enhanced by certification in phlebotomy, which strengthens her ability to provide comprehensive support to clients’ physical, mental, and spiritual health. Ayesha's research experience spans roles at Johns Hopkins University and the Koshy Lab, where she conducted studies on anti-oppressive practices in education and brain immune responses to Toxoplasma Gondii, resulting in a co-authored publication in Nature Communications.

Additionally, her role as a former Legal Case Manager gave her the skills to manage sensitive client interactions, organize case files, and liaise with legal professionals, adding to her well-rounded capacity to support client needs effectively and empathetically.

Currently, with Arizona Fiduciary Services, she brings a wealth of experience from her role as Office Manager and Bail Bondsman at Didn’t Do It Bail Bonds, where she managed client relations, handled collections, ensured court date compliance, and performed investigative tasks. Additionally, Ruby has demonstrated expertise in team management and customer support as a Call Center Supervisor at Elevation Connect LLC, where she oversaw agent performance, provided training, and ensured compliance with KPIs. 

Her experience as a Property Manager at Transpacific Asset Management further enhanced her skills in tenant relations, financial oversight, and property maintenance. With an extensive background in staffing management, recruitment, and talent retention from Intermountain Staffing, Ruby is skilled in client engagement, process improvement, and strategic workforce solutions.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Yissis selflessly devotes her spare time to caring for her beloved grandmother, who unfortunately struggles with dementia. This act of kindness and compassion reflects her character and underscores her commitment to supporting and caring for the elderly. As a new college student, Yissis fully immerses herself in her studies, which understandably demands most of her time and attention. However, she demonstrates great determination and time management skills in balancing her academic responsibilities with her caregiving duties. 

Yissis's resilience, empathy, and dedication make her a promising individual in the field of civil law. With her unwavering commitment to serving the elderly and her genuine curiosity for elder law, Yissis is poised to make a significant impact in her chosen career path.

Additionally, she has experience working for a law firm specializing in civil matters, further honing her skills in legal research, case management, and client relations.  

Currently, she is furthering her education to become a lawyer and is expected to graduate by March 2025.  She is particularly interested in the legal assistant position because it offers an opportunity to build on these experiences while supporting Arizona Fiduciary Services mission to provide exceptional legal services.

 Amy Aldana is an intern at Arizona Fiduciary Services, where she specializes in filing documents and supporting various administrative tasks. With a strong commitment to detail and organization, Amy plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm.

Her participation in the Harvard Pre-College Summer Experience further inspires her to guide and uplift others, particularly young women, in pursuing their dreams.
